"A State Accredited Law Enforcement Agency"
Serving the Cities of Erlanger and Crescent Springs, KY
505 Commonwealth Avenue - Erlanger, KY 41018
Office Number 859-727-7599 - Fax 859-727-7929
The Erlanger Police Department considers service to our community to be our primary responsibility. We understand that we are one of the few agencies of government that never closes and, therefore, may be called upon to perform many different tasks for the community. The department is an organization of well trained dedicated and disciplined men and women who work together to make the Cities of Erlanger and Crescent Springs safe places to live, work and play.
It is with great sadness that we inform you of the passing of Police Clerk Diane Meiners. Diane passed away on Saturday October 11th. She was a valued member of our agency since 2004. Diane was also a member of our Volunteers In Police Service. She will be missed.
Letter from Chief Robert L Arens
While moving forward and striving for excellence, each New Year will bring upon us many changes. Change can be good if the timing is right and the employees are ready for it. The changes in culture that do occur in an organization can best be described as interpretation, articulation and elaboration. There are some who do not regard change as progressive and who are reluctant to turn from the methods and philosophies of the “good old days.” Our mission needs to match our goal of a progressive-proactive police agency. After considerable thought and input from everyone, our new mission is:
"Performing Collectively to Provide Exemplary Services for Our Community with Integrity and Pride"
Safeguarding The Future
The Constitution, Integrity, Family and Loyalty.
Be Proud, Be Honest, Be Nice,
The Impression You Leave May Last Forever
Council members Patty Suedkamp and Corine Pitts serve on the Police Committee.
