Melissa Andress is the Director of Administration/City Clerk for the City of Erlanger. This position holds many responsibilities; maintaining official records, attesting to official actions of City Council, administering property taxes, overseeing Human Resources, and much more.

Melissa Andress came to the City of Erlanger in March 2007 as the Assistant City Clerk. She was promoted to Director of Administration/City Clerk in December 2007. Prior to that she served as the City Clerk for the City of Elsmere. Ms. Andress is a member of the Northern Kentucky Municipal Clerks Association (NKMCA), the Kentucky Municipal Clerks Association (KMCA), and International Institute of Municipal Clerks (IIMC). She serves on the City's Wellness Committee, Safety Committee, Insurance Committee, Clean-Up Committee, Connect Erlanger Committee, and the Erlanger-Elsmere Dixie Committee.

Council Members Kevin Burke and James Brown serve on the Administration Committee.

Office hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Solicitation in Erlanger - Erlanger City Council passed an ordinance requiring individuals who wish to solicit door to door in Erlanger to register with the City first. Residents also can sign up to get their addresses placed on a list that would prevent solicitors from "knocking' on their doors by completing an Anti-Solicitation Registration form.

Open Records Request - All requests should be submitted to the City Clerk's office at 505 Commonwealth Avenue, Erlanger, KY 41018. Requests shall be completed within three full business days and copies are .10 per page.

Waste Services - CSI Waste Services was awarded the residential waste collection bid in May, 2009.

Property Taxes - Tax bills are sent out during the first week of October and are due by December 31st. For a 2% discount, payments are due by October 31st.
