§ 72.01  DEFINITIONS.

     For the purpose of this chapter the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.

     "ANYBODY."  Any human being, or any organization or combination thereof, in the form of a corporation, partners= hip, joint venture, unincorporated, associated or otherwise.

     "EVERYBODY."  Every human being, or a= ny organization or combination thereof, in the form of a corporation, partners= hip, joint venture, unincorporated, associated or otherwise.

     "MOTOR VEHICLE."  Any wheeled vehicle propelled by any means other than gravity or muscular power.

     "NOBODY."  No human being, or any organization or combination thereof, in the form of a corporation, partners= hip, joint venture, unincorporated, associated or otherwise.

     "PARKED MOTOR VEHICLE."  Any motor vehicle in which the engine thereof is not in operation.

     "PARKED TRAILER."  Any trailer which = is not in the process of being towed by a motor vehicle.

     "PERSON."  Any human being, or any organization or combination thereof in the form of a corporation, partnersh= ip, joint venture, unincorporated, associated or otherwise.

Kenton County - Snow Emergency

 

Ord. 1848, passed 9-2-86; Am. Ord. 1945, passed 3-20-90)

     "SNOW EMERGENCY."  Any natural accumulation of either snow or ice or any combination thereof on any public street of the c= ity to such an extent that either:

     (A)     Any such accumulation thereof exceeds t= wo inches in depth; or,

     (B)     The Mayor has determined that as a resu= lt thereof there is a substantial risk of collision between motor vehicles operated in the circumstances thereof, and has declared the existence of a = snow emergency.

     "TRAILER."  Any wheeled vehicle designed to be towed by a motor vehicle.

§ 72.02  SNOW EMERGENCY.

(A= )      =          The Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to d= eclare a snow emergency whenever there is such an accumulation of snow and ice or = any combination thereof on the following streets of the city to such an extent = that as a result thereof, there is a substantial risk of collision between motor vehicles operated in the circumstances thereof.

 

 

All Cul-de-sacs are included in the snow emergency.
